RusselBridge2017
Yesterdays Wentloog to Daventry failed last evening in Cardiff so 66405 came from Crewe earlier to rescue the train. I combined my government approved exercise with a trip to see a rare daylight northbound Tesco train through Chelt.

Also..... 646V is the masked id, it hides the true reporting code as some companies don't like the true code being shown on diagrams, the real headcode is 6V00 (in that case)

I thought that it was the other way round. So he 12:11 departure is always 6V00 as the reporting number, however the number it was showing up on Real-time, Sussextrains live feed and Railrecord as 677G.... thanks for the heads up. : )

50031Hood
66787 and 789 in Tonbridge Yard 7th May 2020. I don't care too much about these locos but the large logo livery took me back 30+ years and looked good!
RusselBridge2017
Part of my daily exercise saw Mondays Avonmouth to Penyffordd train. First time I have seen this train which seems to be shorter than the Clitheroe, is it because the terminal is not a large at Penyffordd?
RusselBridge2017
Tuesdays bicycle ride as part of my daily exercise saw Burton on Trent to Cardiff Tidal empties returning south. Great to see none bogie wagons still in use, VGA vans originally built in the early 1980s, when I were a lad. RMweb Premium newbryford Posted May 16, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 16, 2020 A quick grab shot whilst playing golf today. Thanks to a wayward tee shot, I ended up on the wrong fairway with a relatively clear view. (If I had been on the fairway of the hole I was playing, there would have been trees to obscure the picture. 66709 Sorrento drifts down the hill at Langho with 6M90 Avonmouth-Cltheroe cement. Despite the errant shot, I parred the hole!
RMweb Gold big jim Posted May 17, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 17, 2020 That’s one 66 I’ve still not driven! i remember we had it at fastline for a couple of days when it was in black livery and I missed it then and I’ve yet to get on it with GBRF too

RMweb Gold big jim Posted May 17, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 17, 2020 Hmmm, I have part of a pen-y-fordd to Avonmouth on Tuesday evening wonder if it will be the same rake doing that run?

I think the Penyfford is currently running as a full JPA rake The Clitheroe seems to be a mix of about 5x JPA, with around 15 PCAs. (As 6M90 trundled by, I did see that there were at least four of my model graffiti PCAs in the set)

Grizz
66034 working 6V00 (664D) Newhaven Day Aggregates to Acton T.C. Passing Hamsey AHBC on the UP, with the ‘Ratty Rake’ of KEAs. Running right time. No Freightliner workings to Newhaven so far this week. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Two Colas locos have been showing up on an overnight possession in the Eastbourne area but heading back way too early for me to go see them.
