Rivercider Posted October 19, 2013 Share Posted October 19, 2013 (edited) Here are some 37s on passenger work, including 37044 which is among pics I have just uploaded to Flickr 37044 has just arrived at Kings Lynn on a service from Liverpool Street which I had caught from Cambridge, 3/10/81 In 1981 due to a shortage of DMUs on the WR a number of longer distance workings were diagrammed for loco and coaches. 37190 is working the 15.50 Weston-super-Mare - Swansea service and is passing Lawrence Hill, 22/4/81 More famliliar passenger work for the boiler fitted Landore 37s was in West Wales, 37186 is running into Swansea with a service from West Wales, 7/7/81 Finally one of my instamatic shots from the late 1970s Empty stock arrives at platform 1 at Newport behind 37185 ready to run round and work the 17.05 Newport - Swansea service, 10/9/79 edit - I have just realised someone has wound the headcode blinds to 1-85 to try to match the loco number cheers Edited October 19, 2013 by Rivercider 5 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
