RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted October 16, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 16, 2020 Re that sign, one thing which makes me think it may not be original is the mention of Quarry Bank Mill. Did BR do such things> I don't remember any examples. Though if it is modern it is nicely done. Jonathan

RMweb Gold Popular Post big jim Posted October 19, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted October 19, 2020 Some from today, thought I’d got away with dodging the RHTT but have ended up with a week of it starting out of kings norton this year as opposed to bescot ready to go It then runs to landor st, across Sutton park, Walsall, Aston, stetchford, Coventry to rugby where it changes ends on the goods line It then runs to stafford where I put it in the tamper sidings for the next driver and I head off home, I’ll try and get some pics of that bit tomorrow As I’ve got it until Thursday now but the rest of the week I pick it up from bescot earlier on and take it up to kings norton too
RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted October 19, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 19, 2020 Sorry, but I don't think that BR green livery looks right on a modern diesel loco. Jonathan
RMweb Gold Popular Post big jim Posted October 20, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted October 20, 2020 It makes a change from the same old standard liveries though anyway, RHTT again today into rugby and stafford
RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted October 20, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 20, 2020 What standard liveries? When I look through photos of the current scene there seem to be hardly any two freight locos in the same livery. Anyway, keep up the posts please. Always interesting.
