RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted March 31, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Have received an ebay purchase in the post today. It was a little bigger than I thought but that has worked well. The far corner of Sonera where a small fuel depot was going to be has had the track shortened. Then I drew around the new acquisition to check its alignment in the general area Then I test placed in the area and took a few photos to check how it looked I glued it in place and allowed the glue to dry. I then marked out the path leading away from the entrance and tacked in some track pins to hold the plasticard in place to hold the path in place while the glue is drying I then did the same for a path going down the side of the pond and filled both with ballast which I then glued in place with normal pva/water mix. Once it's fully set I will add finer ballast to the top of this so it looks more like a gravel path. RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted May 3, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted May 3, 2015 Have been doing some more work today First off I painted the earth bank behind the Manor House Then I placed the house back to check its fit and look and also painted the road in front in a base coat of black Then i painted the road in a top coat of dark grey to represent fairly newly laid concrete and put in some hedging along the edge of the road and put some gates on the front of the property Then I laid some lawn behind part of the new hedge and covered some of the banks do installed the inside of the road tunnel. It needs to be covered in brick and then glued in place but it's in place for now Next I started on the wiring of sonera. On the first hub of feeds I forgot to put in connectors on the board to connect the individual solder points so I used wire retro fitted afterwards. So for the second one before I installed it in place I soldered a rail in place for each side which will act as where the main feed will attach to as well
RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted May 3, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted May 3, 2015 I've also installed a hedge near the fields on sonera and created a road in front of the hedge leading to the fields
