bgman
Whilst I'm at it, do any of the ANTB gang know of any photographs which show the interior of the GW Dynamometer Carriage ? I have sourced a couple but they don't show it fully. Hope you don't mind me asking here ? Sorted, thank you to a certain ANTB follower, happy now.

The last great Western Pictorial (Tony Sterndale) showed the full control room interior with Sammy Ell at the control desk. Ashley Bridge
I don't want to begin a silly argument or go too far off topic, but don't we all board the train in the same place when doing a regular commute as Mr Warburton obviously is? Love your latest pictorial efforts, Rob. That Auto tank looks really great. Ash.

RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted April 23, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 23, 2017 NRM Archive maybe? Philth The problem with that lot is that don't know everything they have got when it comes to GWR stuff, particularly GWR official photos. Steam at Swindon might have something (as York print batches of GWR negs and send them to Steam for identification) and I don't know if there are any stock drawings at Chippenham which seems to have all the Swindon M&EE building and fittings etc drawings. The GWS might also be a possible.
