I really need more 'maid of all works' than I currently have.

Maybe an advertisement in the Brent Chronicle might help ?

I 'nearly' bought a late BR Hornby Railroad version from Hawkins this afternoon.I really need more 'maid of all works' than I currently have.

I'm very pleased with mine apart from the lining.

The missing brake rods are now available as a spares pack- but that makes it less of a bargain!

I don't think I'd have resisted that, very tempted by a Hornby one to add steam pipes / handrails and spray black. The supposed better running that some have found (along with the DCC socket in the tender) really appeal...

That said, it's Bulldogs I really need to be building....

I've 2 kits I can get on with now knowing no manufacturer will be turning out RTR's soon.
