Sadly I'm sure his shows couldn't be broadcast now.  A shame, as some of his stuff was brilliant.  More tea vicar?

Along with the likes of Benny Hill and Kenny Everett, the woke brigade would never have it , no matter how funny there were.

Don't you mean SheepBloke on TV in the world of 50 years ago?

Perhaps we go for SheepBloke not being suitable for TV in any era??

I did spot that Benny Hill shows are being shown on one of the more obscure Freeview Channels. Whether they are edited to suit a "modern audience" I know not as I haven't watched any but I did see them on a TV Guide page in the last couple of weeks.

Edit to add:

Channel 65 That's TV 2 channel. They also have Kenny Everett and Till death us do part along with a few other very non woke programmes.

Oh no, not at all. I think he would be great presenting the Nine O'Clock News!

You might be OK as a CBBC presenter, old chap...

I'll stick with my Ratio ones, I think.

Premium prices asked for these unmade on eBay so maybe the prices will come down with this announcement.

RoS will soon get an order for one of these from me.

The Ratio one appeared on many layouts featured in the mags 40 or 50 years ago.  I seem to remember reading somewhere that it had some inaccuracies but I don't recall what they were.

Given that the kit seems to have gone out of production in the early 1970s, there may not be all that many still out there.

Appearances on eBay are infrequent, and the last time remember seeing an unbuilt one in the plastic, I was driving a Renault 18GTS, of which just two remain in the UK nowadays.

The seller has just offered this to me for 20 sheets John @Dunsignalling if you're interested.

Yo WR peeps,

Just making up one of these GWR PW hut thingies. Can anyone assist by pointing me in the direction of a nice period photo to help finish it off? Not a prototype I am familiar with.

Cheers all

Very nice.

Were these made at Exmouth Junction Concrete Works?

No idea, sorry, I don't know anything about the real WR buildings but presume they had their own version of Exmouth Junction?

I have loads of info about the SR equivalents...

I have David Geen cast white metal ones I am in no hurry to replace. If anyone is up for a challenge they can be rebuilt into crane runners.

More likely at Taunton concrete works. That was the GWR works. Exmouth Junction - Southern.
