cary hill
Is that a weekend request.... Dear Robin, We wonder if you would consider including us in a forthcoming photo shoot as we have not really featured on ANTB since we inadvertently turned our backs on your new 48XX. As you know we rely on the income generated from the sale of our ANTB image rights to supplement our meagre pensions and this has dried up to a mere trickle in recent weeks. We are prepared to relocate from the shadows of the footbridge if this would help and are prepared to admire any locomotive you instruct us to admire in future. Yours in anticipation, Minnie and Flora Finching. Edited May 12, 2017 by cary hill
RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted May 12, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 12, 2017 Dear Minnie and Flora Thankyou for your request and it's been given to the board to peruse before any decision is made. However like the music industry you might find new material released by your good self, even though it's as good as your prime years, doesn't get the attention your images deserve.A younger model appeals to the younger generation and it might be the platform bench at Brent is frequented by some new glamourpuss in the future. It's a tough business out there girls. RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted May 12, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 12, 2017 Fairly sure the rear coach is a E152 Large Window Brake Compo. I am a lot less sure of the near coach, other than its a non corridor brake composite of GWR design

A.G Eist. Dear Robin, We would remind you that we were ANTB's original Page 3** girls when we posed for this iconic shot way back in March 2013. One for our loyal fans: **(It really is on page 3 of the ANTB thread.... post number.....erm...69.) brianusa
Thomas is too much of a wimp. Fortunately King Arthur has just turned up in Brent and he has much better local knowledge: KING ARTHUR AT BRENT.jpg He will be available to help once he has finished his Brent photo shoot Lovely old picture, although could someone turn off the 'aged look'! RMweb Premium Mallard60022 Posted May 12, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 12, 2017 Why would you want to leave for Plymouth from Waterloo - wouldn't Paddington be a better choice? Not when there were floody things east of Execeter and also not if you wanted some interesting coach formations. P. A. Cific

RMweb Premium brushman47544 Posted May 12, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 12, 2017 Why would you want to leave for Liverpool from Paddington - wouldn't Euston be a better choice ? Post steam what would you prefer, Western haulage from Paddington or an electric from Euston? No contest really. But then I once took a diesel hauled train from York to Reading for a Tram to Paddington in preference to a 91 and Mk4s to the Cross.

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted May 13, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 13, 2017 I have considered every aspect of this pannier, from all angles and despite the many theories and postulations regarding it causing disquiet, I can confirm that I have found it to be completely inoffensive.
