3864 rounds the curve and with a clear signal speeds through Brent.A mixed parcels with both SR and GWR shirtbutton liveried vehicles.I call this a bargain, the best I've ever had.

Rob, do you think that in the really hot summer of '47, just before the weather turned very nasty, that the 38XX was pressed into holiday relief service. Later I know but I remember seeing on one or two occasions one of those emerge from Mutley Tunnel with a 'Relief'.

Yep that was Dastardly and Muttley, the song was "stop the pigeon" and they used to try to intercept a carrier pigeon with more and more elaborate flying machines. Nobody ever just said "grab a 12 bore!"
