RMweb Premium CloggyDog Posted September 21, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 21, 2015 In somewhat similar vein, Atlas-Editions.de are running a Legendäre E-Lok series of classic European (and US) electric locos in H0: http://www.atlas-editions.de/collection/ELO/krokodil-lok.html Though I fear it may be only available in Germany... Someone cloned the Roco model, then. I thought Krokodil Lok was one of Elton John's hits?
Trade Member BlueLightning Posted September 21, 2015 Trade Member Share Posted September 21, 2015 Just looked at the B12 as a possible candidate for motorising and found the chimney has gone walkabouts. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement? Ta,
cypherman
Hi Blue, Would probably be cheaper to buy another B12 direct from Amercom. www.amercom-hobby.com Rather than try and buy a brass or whitemetal replacement .
Steamport Southport
Alan Gibson Workshop do them in brass for the B12. Jason
Smiffy2
If you look in the magazine that comes with the loco there is a phone number for ordering at cover price + postage, which is a lot less than €22.

Actually, if they are doing a DB Br.103, that would be a nice thing to have. Did Roco ever produce one, because at least you could then get the spares to help motorise it. Trade Member BlueLightning Posted September 22, 2015 Trade Member Share Posted September 22, 2015 Thanks for the replies. I will probably get the chimney from Alan Gibson. I have to motorise it as my son loves the B12 as one is a main character in a YouTube series he likes.

cypherman
Blue why do you not just buy a Hornby one off evil bay, Unless you are feeling perverse for the trauma of converting one........ Unless you already have the chassis for the conversion. Edited September 22, 2015 by cypherman

Unless you already have the chassis for the conversion. I got the chassis from my local model shop for a fiver. I had looked at getting him one from ebay but when I saw the chassis for that price I couldn't say no

rue_d_etropal
always frustrating looking at how much better Atlas Editions models are, and normally new models not rehashed scans of old ones. Managed to get some of the French ones on ebay, direct from China. Just checked on ebay, and some of this German collection are available. Sir Hadyn
Went looking to see if I could find a Locomotion this afternoon, sadly not. Must be with being in S&D country that they've all gone. If anyone has one that they don't want, please let me know...thanks!
Smiffy2
I've got one on a base, which I've promised to someone else but he hasn't got back to me with an address, and two that have been (mostly) taken off the bases. Happy to negotiate, as it is so small I'm not too fussed about it.
