CVSNE Posted February 4, 2013 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Gondolas are sitting on the dump track over the pit for the sandhouse. Although some of the cars are indeed pretty old I'd venture a guess that most are in revenue service. By 1943 the railroads were stretched pretty thin moving war materiel. Neat photo.
