Popular Post vitalspark
Another from Alloa. The wheels in the foreground are off a Standard 4 that came to grief after running away down the bank on a slippy rail. I know the signalman from the box and he tells me the brakes were pinned at the top of the hill as was practice but the train still overtook the engines braking power. 33 2

The buddleia bushes are homemade, but everything else in the two dioramas are off the shelf items. You don't need any special tools either.

RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted June 30, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 30, 2019 (edited) Natural daylight on a bright summer evening even extends to the railway room on the shady side of the house. 4557 is waiting for the road with the ecs from the evening's Tremains ROF-Cwmdimbath workman's, and will be right away Tondu shortly. She's Tondu's cleanest loco, and to be honest I'm not 100% certain of her lined livery, but as the only example of it on the layout she will continue to carry it until I can confirm she didn't!
