A well-meaning cleaner who took the opportunity to give a locked-down library a thorough clean re-shelved all of its books - in size order.

I had to laugh at that one - I used to work in a uni library!

You would be surprised how many books we would find out of place on a shift!

From the put back in an empty space, it's close enough to the deliberately hidden from other students in "they won't guess it's there" section.

If I remember my library history correctly, that was a way of organising early libraries. As was shelving by colour of the binding.

A library I worked in used to have an award like 'most misfiled book of the month'.

The cleaner did it that way for a reason - to prove that the books had been moved & cleaned!

When I was a librarian nearly 40 years ago we used to call that "bogled" and it happened in public libraries too, probably when readers had reached their borrowing limit.

Not to mention that there is no tender behind... ;)

The passengers in 3rd class would have had the tender behinds.

Didn't they have to stand?

I thought only second class got seats in an open truck!:scratchhead:

Surely there will be a glut of people up for Darwin awards should they follow his logic.!

The first to use that technique should be the current incumbent of the White House.

It’s funny how he’s always recommending these quack ‘cures’ but hasn’t the cojones to try them himself.

But he was only being sarcastic, to see what the reporters would make of it!

Believe that if you will! But I expect his fan club will.
