Ekco was named after the founder, Mr E.K. Cold. They also made Safe Load Indicators and they installed them on the Clarke Chapman (formerly Cowans Sheldon) and Plasser General Purpose (GP) and Twin Jib Cranes (TJC) and the electronic load / radius indicators for the 75t and 76t breakdown cranes.
