I wouldn't say vast, but various polls do show a overall majority. However whilst Inner London residents are greatly in favour, those in the outer boroughs have a majority against. 2

Then I thought of the two Voyager probes. Quote Launched in 1977, NASA’s two Voyager probes surveyed Jupiter and Saturn, with Voyager 2 also visiting Uranus and Neptune before heading out of the Solar System. Voyager 1 has since become the fastest and most distant man-made object in the Universe, travelling at around 61,500km/h at a distance of 17.6 billion km from the Earth. Perhaps most incredible of all, NASA is still in communication with it, despite radio signals taking 16 hours to reach it. I'm in awe and joy that something launched into space in 1977 is still working. If we took Mach 1 as 1,235 km/h, it's theoretically cruising at about Mach 50. I'll get the next line in before the Space Pedants arrive. Yes I do know there's no air out there for sound to travel through at any speed. In space, no one can hear you scream. https://www.sciencefocus.com/space/how-fast-are-the-voyager-spacecrafts-travelling

But according to the calculations of Professor von Proton, that 16 light hours achieved in 47 years is 2300 times less than the distance to Alpha Centauri (if either probe were even heading in that direction). Space is big. 4

Steamport Southport
Have to agree with old Shrek..... I daresay the troll has never had to get up at something daft like 5AM. Eaten a full breakfast. Trained. Then had a meal of about 10,000 calories. Then played football for over two hours (equivalent of doing a marathon). All before 2PM. Just so that SKY or BT can show the match to people like the troll in the pub whilst they're supping ale and moaning! 1 1

Maybe if you had worked harder then you would be earning that much? One day a week. Deluded and jealous is the word. These kids start playing from about eight. Day in, day out. Only a few make it. Most teams now will be playing three times a week as well as training. That's the equivalent of a marathon a day. When you see what happens to people like Varane and Jeff Astle maybe some will start growing up and keep their stupid comments to their selves. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68713327 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Astle 1

Best earnings during mt time , about £22,000 per year , 30 of those years were with a police force so not just any cars , if I had made a major mistake I could have cost peoples lives . What was the cost of a Rooney mistake . So take your stupid comments and sit on them. 13 2
