Have to admit I wasn't avid since there wasn't a lot of banging and clanging. My parents didn't get a lot of things that we watched - the "Flying Circus" springs to mind. I remember my dad watching and pronouncing "that's not funny, it's silly!" Strangely enough now that I've turned into him, I have much the same reaction when I see the odd episode. Funny how our tastes in comedy evolve. John I find that silliness is badly underrated in the context of humour. A playful skit of silliness will have me in the throes of laughter every time.

RMweb Premium melmerby Posted June 2, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 2, 2021 Nice bit of Chinglish here on the instructions for a small computer screen. Do I connect or don't I? Yet more confusion: Earlier it tells us not to connect the USB cable but here seems to be suggesting that it supplies 12v 2A power! It also seems to suggest you "reboot". How do you reboot a monitor? Further on in the set up it tells you to set the computer resolution to 1920x1080p, unfortunately the display is only 1366x768. The instructions are for the correct display, which is being sold as a Non touchscreen, 10.1", 1366x768 display monitor and it works just fine. A USB socket is fitted but does not seem to have any function. The supplied remote control has settings to read USB media (movie/music/photo/text) but if you select any of them it goes to the screen set up menu! Methinks they need a new manual author. 4

Also, from the same article; CNN has reached out to the factory owner, US embassy in Bulgaria, Bulgaria's Interior Ministry and Defense Ministry for comment. Does nobody ask any more, why use 3/5 letters when 10 will do. I despair. Mike.
