Disgraceful lack of precision... demand a public enquiry based on pensioners injuries, whilst trying to insert, what they thought were standard D Cells into their hearing aids. A couple of days later package duly arrived, yes singular, workmate and some broken glass. The packaging (a misnomer if there ever was one) consisted of a box several sizes too big and no internal filling. Result one broken consumer unit. I explained what had happened and recommended that the replacement should be restrained in the box Replacement arrived - exactly the same & also broken, as was a third one. The fourth one arrived intact, somehow, but Screwfix just didn't get it that they needed some filling in the box to stop them lurching around in transit. The alternative would be to pack the MCBs in a separate box as it was their weight which caused the internal supports to break and allow them to thrash around inside the case.
