RMweb Gold 2mmMark Posted January 28, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 28, 2019 Today's junk call from 001132280219 @ 15:33 "Hello I'm Lisa from BT Broadband, your internet server is sending error messages, how many devices are connected" "Well if you count my toaster, fridge and intelligent bathroom shower, it's 38" "Do you have a laptop" "Yes" "What make is it" "Aveling & Porter" ...silence from Lisa and some confused whispering... "Hello sir, you've been transferred, my name is Edward Thomas" "What?! THE Edward Thomas, really, I can't believe it!" "Yes sir. I am Edward Thomas" "Do you remember Adlestrop?" ...unobtainable tone... On the plus side, I now have a contact number for Edward Thomas. 8

RMweb Gold Popular Post big jim Posted February 1, 2019 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted February 1, 2019 Odin update: he’s turning into a right little hunter, here’s a pic of him mid air trying to catch a toy on a piece of elastic we have also discovered a bit more about his previous ‘life’ he wasn’t accidentally locked in the control room, he was put there ‘to be found’ by someone who quite simply didn’t want him any more, so thought it a good idea to dump him rather than going to a re homing place or vets, the result being he was a few hours from death before we got him and made him better, I sure hope that person (who is known) gets karma back on them ten fold as he is he most adorable, loving kitten you could imagine, even though he bites your toes in bed at night! 13

It takes a surprising amount of power to push through snow like that. RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted February 3, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 3, 2019 One that ultimately makes you smile and explains a little of what drivers and other staff can do if they get the chance. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_audio/must_see/47061639/meeting-the-stranger-who-saved-my-life I’ve had the Samaritans training to help with this, through work and the best course I’ve ever done, and all you need to do is listen and get them to those who can help longer term like they have for Liv. I’ve seen exactly this in action just before Christmas when a GW driver spotted a lady on the track at night, by the time I got there he was walking her back to the crossing and help and he got a big hug and a thank you. I hope that lady was as fortunate in turning things around as Liv in this film. 3
