She was on the One Show kitted up :)

 

 

And She in Her uniform looked exceedingly smart, Much Smarter than the other RAF officers.  I suspect  more tailoring was involved than normal RAF uniforms..

 

I really must find these pictures, they will have me standing to attention.

The singular of premises is premise, right?

Wrong.

 

The word "premise" means "A previous statement or proposition from which another is inferred or follows as a conclusion", or "An assertion or proposition which forms the basis for a work or theory".

[source: Oxford English Dictionary]

 

"Premises" is a plural noun, which is treated as singular in the appropriate circumstances. So your example should say "... in a licensed premises."
