RMweb Gold Graham_Muz Posted March 30, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 30, 2017 On a slightly more serious note, seeing my 80 yo dad when I picked him up from hospital last night made me smile, in less than 24 hours his heart had momentarily stopped 7 times, he was seen by two paramedic crews, admitted to A& E yesterday morning at one hospital, transferred before lunch to the cardiac unit at another (by yet another ambulance crew), had an operation to fit a pacemaker and be declared fit to return home by 7pm. The Ambulance and paramedic teams and staff at both the hospitals were second to none, well to all concerned at the NHS! It was a stressful day but one with a happy outcome in the end.
