The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu has (or had) a similar pod-ride type exhibit on the history of motoring. I remember quite a bit of press hoo-haa when it was put in in about 1985. Thing is, I didn't get to have a go on it until 2010, by which time even the "new" developments described were pretty historical :D.

Well my local tourist development centre this weekend published a photo to celebrate/ commemorate the rather patriotic American holiday, Memorial Day.

Is that a Ford? or a Chevy? maybe its a GMC vehicle????????

Well, if it's any consolation, over this side of the pond, they often refer to them as 'Jeeps' (better go and wash my mouth out now.)
