Doorslammer
Dodecahegronk If railways were completely straight with no curves, points or uneven track, that would be a great loco.
Sam Moss
Hmm yes, I wonder what its route availability would be?
SWT442
Good to see the thread back! It's good fun to see what loco's can be made! Here's a few of mine from the old thread. How about a 4 car Pacer EMU? Class 153 with Pacer cabs. What if the 60's just weren't powerful enough? Class 78, for heavy loads off the juice. Can't explain this. Class 88, for those heavy loads over Shap. What if BR went to BREL for a 92? For light loads through the Tunnel.. ..and heavier loads. Andy.

kevpeo
Here's another one. Can sometimes be seen on Coppell. 9

steamrailuk
After viewing these unique projects I've been taking a crack at doing some cut and shut jobs of my own based on locos that were designed but never built. This one is of a LNER 4-8-2 which I've dubbed the I class by Gresley in 1938 for the predicted heavier trains in the future albeit modified in the style of Peppercorn. This is my interpretation of a design Bullied was working on in 1945 for an outside cylindered Q1 Im also currently working on a proposed LMS design for a 4-6-4 Hudson based off the Duchess.
Scrapman
Heres one I did some time back. Based on a picture of a NCC mogul. Caption finished along the lines of "What Derby would have built for the LMS if left to their own devices"
Scrapman
A de-streamlined A4. Ok so it looks just like an A3. Not much different under all that metalwork.
