RMweb Gold Re6/6 Posted August 20, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 20, 2012 With the sad news of the death of Tony Scott...it's just so awful that someone is driven to take their life...we really have lost one of Hollywood's great film directors (and a Brit) with credits for the direction of some of the best action movies like 'Top Gun', 'Crimson Tide', 'Enemy of the State' to mention but a few. I fear that we've lost a director who's work just had a 'real and honest' look to it as opposed to some of the latest action movies which seem to totally rely on CGI effects. I've just seen on TV the trailer for the classic sci-fi film 'Total Recall' and IMHO it just doesn't cut it (no remake needed in this case I think).
