I've been modelling or collecting model railways from as long as I can remember starting off when the "real" Hornby was still making 3 rail items. Then onto repaints, Airfix models and finally onto etch brass etc. I drifted away from the UK scene some years ago due to the high quality of the continental offerings but still kept the LMS kits etc going. Now I have "drifted back" to the UK scene as it seems to have improved so much though I still find it hard not to "improve" some of the models and cut them about a bit.
