steve1
Anyone tried this one?  Any comments, tips?  I'll be doing it later this year and wonder what others' experiences are like.  Cheers  steve
dave1905
I did it about 20 years ago and it was fun. Of course it was neat for me because the original bridge was made at a steel mill near where i grew up. Â If you go, leave time to stop in some of old mines in the area and by all means hit Caboose Hobbies in Denver.
jonhall
Its a bit 'Disney' its a tourist trip, rather than a preserved railway in the British sense, but I enjoyed it. I did more or less this tour back in 2005 (not quite the same itinerary but very close) and it was one of the best holidays I've ever had.  http://tours.railtra...aspx?ID=224#tab   Jon
