CourthsVeil
Hi Jack, just looking if there is any update on this layout. Have been looking out for news for a while. Hope everything is still going allright. Armin
shortliner
Armin - sorry, but this one is on hold until spring - it is MUCH too cold to do anything out in the Garage at this time of the year - it was -6Β°C here last night with a thick white frost this morning when I went out to feed the birds - their water was frozen solid. I'm currently toying with an idea for something based on Annacis Island British Columbia, but moved southwest towards Florida see - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/64114-a-posting-by-david-bromage-in-the-model-trains-interactive-forum/ as a mini-layout
Adrian Wintle
I'm currently toying with an ide for something based on Annacis Island British Columbia, but moved southwest towards Florida see Β How's this for a start: Assumptions: 1. The FEC Key West Extension never closed 2. Somebody operates seaplanes out of somewhere like Pigeon Key (adjusted to allow a spur off the main line). http://maps.google.c...011373&t=h&z=17 Β Adrian
shortliner
Adrian - this will be an entirely seperate layout - though the ideas are good. It is based on a modified (severely), and mirrored version of the Rathole layout in Scrapbook ~92A, and if it gels properly in my mind (what mind? they all shouted). it will appear on here
