To me one of these looks a bit like a "pork pie hat", but then to those who know me, well it would, wouldn't it? As mentioned by "britfarmer", I'm sure I've seen a proper cowboy figurine in the Preiser range too. Just noticed that the Transition era freight train crew (Preiser set 10453) has some men with U.S. "engineers peaked caps", which look pretty close to baseball caps.
