Just had a notification on the state of play regarding this subject. To take advantage of the special offer you need to contact the author directly. I will not post his address on here. If past works are anything to go by these two volumes will be a major contribution to the history of railways in that part of the world.

The first volume, London's Railway Heritage Volume One: East, is going to the printers this week. The cover price will be 12.95; to you purchasing now 12.00 post free. It covers the area between the River and the Colchester line (excl.). It will be of interest to both the GE and LT&S reader, as the main sections are on Fenchurch St (excl.) to Bow Jn / Blackwall, and Whitechapel to Upminster (including main features on Stepney Green, Plaistow, and East Ham station buildings). Also included are the North Woolwich line and the EL line and NLR lines.

The second volume, London's Railway Heritage Volume Two: North East will cover from the Colchester line (as far as Harold Wood) to the Chingford line, with the ECR London viaduct and the stations on the GE Central line sections as the biggest features. Most of the work on this volume has already been done, and it will be produced as my next title in autumn/winter 2012/13.

Both volumes include a large number of original architectural drawings.
