RMweb Gold Vistisen Posted January 18, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 18, 2021 (edited) I'm sorry this foam ballast never looks good. This is a branchline close to where I live in Central Jutland. and before somebopdy points it out, I'm not the wrong side of the fence, because there is no fence. Most rural lines over here are unfenced.- This is actually taken from a public footpath which at some points is less then 10 feet fra the track and unfenced. Two trains an hour in each direction :-) Edited January 18, 2021 by Vistisen

Wickham Green too
Well, I know it takes all sorts - but, personally, I wouldn't have built my trainset on the edge of the bathtub .... 5
lmsforever
Went to the last pic in the seventies when I worked for Carters Seeds was alongside this river and was this when I was there.Boy was it noisy !!!
Wickham Green too
Yep - definitely very noisy in the eighties too : that was the day before New Year's Eve '86. Marginally quieter up the ( then ) other end of the line. ( To qualify for inclusion on this thread, you'll have to imagine the lower bridge also carries the railway.)

RMweb Premium njee20 Posted March 11, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 11, 2021 (edited) Looks a bit like tilt shift - there are some great photos if you Google “tilt shift train”, it really does make things look like models! Neither are my photos, but it’s a great illusion! I actually can’t decide if this one really is a model or not: They generally don’t seem in the spirit of this thread though, as they’re actually trying to look like models! The owner needs to tidy up that bit of garden in the foreground. 2
