Fireline
Beautiful. As someone lucky enough to get to drive 30065 regularly at the KESR I am really pleased to see these and they are stunning. I just hope I can persuade the MR team to come down and have a play on the real thing in 2016 and bring a sample down to photograph with the real thing. The only thing missing is the the blood splatter where the drop down front plate traps your fingers whilst your doing disposal! Lovely stuff Model Rail, congratulations. Andy H Andy, if they won't bring theirs down, you can borrow mine!
Purley Oaks
Not long to wait now for this small model with its intricate coupling rods, just 5 weeks to the Glasgow show where the liveries will be unveiled. Shame MR haven't done another late BR green model to curb Gostude-esque eBay extortionists (as Spet0114 says in the Bachmann LT Museum Class 66/7 thread). I have an early BR one on order but would definitely go for a late green as well. Mal Edited January 24, 2016 by Purley Oaks

I believe up to another 3 versions could be ordered, while they aren't limited editions, so larger runs are possible. We now have livery samples of the coloured ones as well. dibber25
Groooaaan! And you lot thought I was a bad one for puns!! The Model Rail office is noted for its puns, groan-worthy headlines (some of which actually get published) and my movie obsession of the moment. All of these get us into trouble because, according to some, model railways aren't supposed to be fun and work certainly isn't supposed to be! JSpencer
Just bunged in an order for 2 more. A KESR USA tank to go with my terriers (though I think some details may be wrong for KESR service but never mind). Now if DJM could just add a KESR J94..., Wonder if anyone will do a USA tank sound chip complete with song "We're on the way"?
RMweb Gold papagolfjuliet Posted February 9, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 9, 2016 Worth Valley one ordered, to go with the Bachmann Worth Valley 2MT. Now all I need to complete the opening day train is some funny coloured Mets and a Swindon DMU buffet with a silver stripe down the side.

PrestburyJack
DS237 'malachite' (this is the second green option, the first having sold out) (CJL) Is this the same shade of green as the BR green 30064 (MR 104 which is sold out)?
dibber25
Is this the same shade of green as the BR green 30064 (MR 104 which is sold out)? No, I believe it was different. (CJL)
RMweb Gold papagolfjuliet Posted February 9, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) Which one is the KESR one? DS237, currently running in BR black as 30065. Sister engine DS238 "Wainwright" is due to return to service in departmental lined malachite green later this year. RMweb Gold papagolfjuliet Posted February 9, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 9, 2016 No, I believe it was different. (CJL) Presumably 30064 is in the lined brunswick green which that locomotive has carried on the Bluebell.
JSpencer
So far we have seen pictures of 4 black ones from the original batch plus 3 latest additional ones in painted EP form, however has the remainder of the initial batch been done in painted EP form yet and if so, are there photoes anywhere?
