Tim Hale
Did Kalmbach ever release the complete series of Iaian Rice's Roque Bluffs within one of their many excellent books? As a magazine feature, it ran from Oct 2003 to mid 2004. Β I remember Smudgeloco building a version but that is all I remember. Β Thanks guys Β Tim
modelmaker87
Tim, as far as I recall Iain Rice's Roque Bluffs was only published in the monthly mag. Was done over several months, 6 or 8 if my memory serves...? I have never seen it in book form in any RR model shop over here. Β Cheers, Tony
DonB
OldNotty of this parish said a while ago (IIRC) that he had obtained the Smudgeloco base boards. He may know more about the publication details of that interesting layout plan.
Jon Gwinnett
I think MR might have published the series as one of their downloadable pdfs?
Jon Gwinnett
I msut be wrong - but here's the link to the track plan:http://mrr.trains.com/How%20To/Track%20Plan%20Database/2007/08/Roque%20Bluffs.aspx
RMweb Gold Barry Ten Posted April 5, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 5, 2012 They never did it as a book, no. One of the best layout articles they've done, I think.
Parthia27
I can't remember the proper title but I am sure that it is contained in the downloadable article on Proto 87 Layouts on the MR site. Β Cheers Β Parthia27
