Unfortunately one of our hlepers has broken his ankle blackberry picking - a dangerous sport by the sounds of it. Tomorrow is even tighter as we are down to just two of us operating but we will get by with a reduced train service. Come say hello if you are visting the Faversham show today or tomorrow. RMweb Gold roundhouse Posted Monday at 19:59 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted Monday at 19:59 We had a good time at the Faversham show despite being down on operators. The layout performed very well with just one push button that failed on Sunday morning. I had to wait till a quiet time around lunchtime to change it. We even had a Czech bloke chat with us saying that his father was at one time in charge of the railway lines around Smrzovka. He got his wife to take photos of himself standing next to the layout name board. Luckily we were in a good location very close ot the parking area so with just three of us we were still loaded and leaving the venue 27 minutes after the show closed. So two shows done this year both with plenty of interest in the layout depsite it being 19 years old. We did have an invite to take the layout to Darlington the weekend just gone but we couldn't find enough operators to travel that distance but hopefully we will be in Darlington in 2025. 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
