Arnington
Locos look good Arnie. Whats your preferred method for weathering? I almost started on some of my own but got too involved in the Fiddle yard work... Cheers Scott Hi Scott, Cheers mate, I've been experimenting lately and have been using a combination of various colours of Tamiya acrylics which i've mixed up with thinners into washes and then dry brushed onto the locos. I've also been using Mig weathering powders to finish off the roof and chassis. I prefer acrylics now as any mistakes can be removed easier Cheers Arnie Edited May 25, 2013 by Arnington

Crisis Rail
Arnie 713 looks well - tempted - always liked the flush LOADHAULS just needs full detailing? - and mucky weathering never saw one of these pristine. Good scenic break with Tranny 412 squeezing between the box and Indusrial units. Ian
P.C.M
Some nice pics there mate, really like the Reggie rail 37 I think that liv really suited them . 412 looks nice too I think it was that one which was one of the only transrail liv 37s I saw before moving to Oz. Cheers Peter.

Ian Thanks Ian, Yeah i've always liked the flush front Loadhauls also and like you say they were never pristine so a bit more grime is needed i think! Jaz
Very interested in the loco weathering. your track colour is nice too. I have been researching graffiti and it's great to see where someone has already had a go. Just looked at the last 2 pages. Will be back again though for a better look.
P.C.M
The weathering on the class 47s looks great Arnie, What model did you use for your freightliner machine, the cut away bufferbeams are a nice touch. Quite common with alot later on in life. Cheers Peter.

Hi Jaz, Thanks for the comment, the graffiti was not my doing though it is a waterslide transfer that i've applied to the container. I've attempted graffiti in the past on other items but with my artistic skills i can never get it to look quite right Cheers Arnie

I don't really go for Heljan 47's due to the Bachmann model but this one looked superb. I've been after a Freightliner machine for a while after regrettable seeling another one i had a while back. Just need to get some pavement down and maybe a i'll take the wheels of the Ford Escort parked up outside and place it on some bricks Here's a pic and also another of 47715 put to work on a mail train. pitbull1845
Hi Arnie,Flats look good, I've got a few from the same supplier but not the shop variety, just working out where to put them on the layout. They do fit in well with the Bachmann High rise. Cheers Scott

Arnington
Evening, Here's a couple of NSE inspired shots and also a pic of 33202 The Burma Star which i've finished up weathering, and have tried to capture what she looked like in the mid 90's with the depot plaque and BR logo removed.
