Il Grifone
One for the livery experts... Without checking, it should be 10 Tons, not 20. As to whether it's worth nearly £175, I would say "not". Its Gr**t W*st*rn, so shouldn't it be green...........? Cheers, Mick It looks green on my monitor!, but should be grey (underframe as well!). Edited November 8, 2017 by Il Grifone

RMweb Gold adb968008 Posted November 8, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 8, 2017 (edited) Unless they've owned it from day one, how do they know it's from a smoke and pet free home? Even if the above applies, the original shop owner could have smoked or owned a pet. The stupidity and arrogance of some people when disseminating irrelevant facts. Mike. Having removed more cat hair from loco axles than a cat could possibly produce in a lifetime, I see it as relevant, especially when the motors burning out and the whole thing is underperforming as the wheels can barely turn for furr.If the loco has been in a house as long as the cat has, the furr gets to every part of a loco you could think possible. After an hour or so of removing tabby from the train, the loco sprang back into life. Still it’s better than a loco turned yellow and stinking of fags. RMweb Gold Wellyboots Posted November 8, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 8, 2017 Hand lettered?? They're transfers! Well the transfer were applied by hand, so I guess in the eyes of some that's what "hand lettered" means.

RMweb Premium njee20 Posted November 9, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 9, 2017 That’s a fair price for those. Top end tools are expensive.
RMweb Gold Re6/6 Posted November 9, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 9, 2017 I can actually agree with that! A member of my family paid a small fortune for their 'Snap On' and 'Bluepoint' tools! 'Lifetime' worldwide guarantees come at a price. They're lovely to use. A huge cut above in quality compared to some of the stuff sold today.

RMweb Gold BoD Posted November 9, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 9, 2017 According to Mr Gostude those spanners 'range in length from 12.5 to 31cm long'. A very useful set of length of spanners to have.
