http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221280450406&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

It hasn't sold yet.

£40 for a tender, don't make me laugh,  it makes my balls hurt. Lets see how it goes, sell the loco body, sell the loco frames etc. etc.

Buy the whole lot for approx £150 then try to sell the parts for £450. Someone will buy the parts and not think about the cost.

I think that this one could be worth a watch or a medal, buy something for £200 without a photo?

He also likes the fantastic L@@K.

But what is so special to look at? A bit of track or a wagon.

I asked "jammy" if this was a powered tender as I assumed from the price it must be.

He's obviously got a sideline in stand-up, because here's his reply:

"Dear a*********9,

I am fairly certain you know the answer to your own question.

Unfortunately, there's no food to be found for trolls here. You'll have to look elsewhere.

Regards,

- jammyt43106"

Another hugely optimistic seller - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OO-Gauge-Model-Railway-Station-Building-Damaged-Card-Built-Kit-/200960559722?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2eca2eca6a

"This is a OO Gauge station building, built from my father from a card kit. To my untrained eye he has made a good job of it!"

I beg to differ....

Re-reading that petulant reply puts me in mind of the self-justifying scum on Jeremy Kyle.

A friend of mine once went to watch the JK show being recorded.

My remark about "You certainly see some dysfunctional people on there" was met with:

"You should see the ones that didn't get on the show........."

Cheers,

Mick

Optimistic? The starting price sounds fair to me. Don't know that its worth the postage though.

THIS IS NOT A 100% ACCURATE MODEL BUT ABOUT 90%.

A FRIEND OF MINE WITH TIME ON HIS HANDS MAKES THESE. HE USES Hornby COACHES THAT HE CUTS UP AND CHANGES THE SIDES ABOUT/AROUND AND GLUES BACK TOGETHER TO MAKE THE MODEL.

IT WILL ADD SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO YOUR LAYOUT.

Especially as Ms Santa is a Preiser figure and H0 scale and the car looks like one of the Cararama models to 1:72!

(And why show two buildings when you are selling only one?)

Possibly to allow someone to buy both (or more than 2? There may well be a "production line" here...) without all that tedious mucking about with Ebay fees and suchlike? ;)

Anyway, they have been made too modern for me! :O

That's like one of those slightly embarrassing products of a 'Community Project,' good intentioned, and we all clap and say well done, whilst cringing and crossing our fingers.  I've been in pubs like that where people have put such artefacts on show.*

See also: Naive Art, Outsider Art.

* I was in the Doric Arch one night and had sufficient cider that the beautiful G-gauge 9F behind the bar looked a bit like that
