I am pretty sure this isn't what the purveyor of this CCC* purports it to be...

[* Cheap Chinese Crepe]

But its made of high-quality alloy, is wear resistant and  can "bring fun to children"

Is there a prototype for this oddity?

Imagine trying to explain in A&E!

'I slipped in the fiddleyard' will win no sympathy from Matron!

So, is it big four or British Rail? It can't be both.

If it were travelling in an easterly direction on the cusp of midnight, 31st December 1947, there is a possibility that for a fraction of a second the locomotive might be British Railways and the tender LMS...

Going in a westerly direction the changeover might be slightly slower!

Only on the Greenwich Meridian if we’re being pedantic, though to be fair the legislation that introduced BR came into force at midnight GMT over the entire network.  The nanosecond would need to be shorter the further south the crossing took place as well.  Of course if it was running north-south or south-north, one side would be LMS and the other BR, meaning that the driver and fireman briefly worked for different organisations…

I considered that, but thought my explaination was risible enough already...  🤪

You're just an amatuer, Hroth.  With a little extra effort you could be more like me, really pointless and irritating...

I think you've just hit the nail on the head there....

Yet some people can be pointless and irritating without any effort.

Moving on...

I've just spotted what this

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374824545081

is a ripoff of

https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/39971/L133103-WSL-Liliput-Diesel-Railcar-LINT-27-HLB-number-VT201

I think I'd have the Liliput one...

Ahhhh, but is the Liliput one "durable and can be used for a long time?" Also can it "improve childrens cognitive ability, intelligence and creativity?"

I'm not convinced that the Chinese ripoff will either!

The Chinese version is associated with someone called 'Goodfeeling'. Sounds like a character from a Bond movie!?

That'll be the sexy sidekick who works for the villain but is ambivalent and goes off with Bond at the end of the film, like Pussy Galore...

I'm amazed that the Net Nanny didn't have a fit over that...

Okay, failing to understand this one:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204846307275

This is the standard Atlas HO scale model that has been detailed at some point and then subsequently dropped/wrecked/mishandled/run over by a bus.

At most in that state thirty to forty quid on a good day, yet RoS want £245 for it PLUS postage?!?
