And, talking of the collectors' market, how's this for a silly price? A rather ordinary plastic kit, assembled decades ago, and one of several, no mis-typing here. The £ is currently about 1.15 euros.

It says "train and wagon not included", According to a dictionary a train is "a line of coaches or wagons coupled together and drawn by a railway locomotive", implying that the light engine IS included!!!!!

I don't think we've had this excellent professionally weathered Ivatt before?  Apologies if it's a repost.

Ah another exponent of the ill-famed toilet brush weathering technique!  :sungum:

The rods on this are suspicious to say the least, which does make me wonder how it "ran well"

Such a shame to see such a lovely kit end up like this

Well, for me the final price was madness - but it looks like a few people were willing to put up good money for it, fair enough

That is very similar to how my car looked after following behind some HGV in heavy rain.....

You could make them an offer. Twenty quid seems OK to me.

Mr Depression again!

I would be depressed if I owned this, but I wouldn't ask £13.67 + £1.59 for it. (A good one wouldn't be worth that much.)

Perhaps £1 for the wire stays, wheels and couplings.... but the rest is only fit for the bin. "JUNKYARD WEATHERED LOOK" about describes it.
