Looks nice, but I didn't realise that there are different degrees of unique. “PROFESSIONALLY BUILT AND PAINTED BRASS KIT LOCO - A VERY UNIQUE ENGINE.”

Down the road and over the border is the "most unique" souvenir shop in Montana. Now that's very unique!

(For those in the UK)

A bit like Murray Walker when commentating on F1 with (IIRC) Ferraris first and second: "The car in front is unique, apart from the one following which is identical" or words to that effect!

Well, the seller doesn't appear have too much knowledge of railways/kits, and yes, the photo clearly shows 10 kits inside, so...

Currently on offer new at £9.30 a pop.

A fair price if you need ten and don't mind taking a chance that the material has survived without becoming too brittle.

At £17 as per the label they must have been around in the back of the proverbial cupboard for a good many years.

The kit must be quite ancient as it has a £17 price tag on it. Currently £9.30 each from Coopercraft.

August 1982 they were advertised at £2.25 each so will be at least 30 years old. Plastic should be still all right.
