You could get one of these and wait for it to grow up: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Reborn-Baby-doll-kit-soft-Vinyl-head-3-4-arms-and-legs-for-20-22-baby-DK-3-/251165484944?pt=UK_Dolls_Accessories_RL&hash=item3a7aa12790

Oops Sorry! Wrong scale!

I'm a bit confused!!! Where does the "farm" bit come into the equation? Do station porters drive tractors and milk cows as well???

Model: 1 LEAD STATION PORTER NEEDING A NEW ARM & HEAD SEE PHOTOS

NOTES: IDEAL FOR A RAILWAY LAYOUT A must for the Britains Farm enthusiast!

Not entirely convinced of "build to a good standard" here.

I wonder how much the declined offer was. 10p for the Tri-ang wagon underframe? (the 2 Hornby ones are worth less than the bin to put them in!)

Spares for the porter are available here, if anyone is interested (I doubt it!). Some modification may be required of course.

Funnily enough this didn't sell, so it's relisted. Wonder if this will be relisted as many times as that Gaiety tank body?

this coach was released by Hornby like this, from 'the great discovery' set. thomas had a different face for that set too!!! looks like its been given the flicking toothbrush method of weathering!

Not surpising there were no bids.

Maybe if the loco had her box too, but as is about £50-60 I would say*. The boxed wagon is worth nearly as much as the loco! Neither is rare of course.

I love the eccentric spelling and use of the English language!

*Assuming the other side is as good and that everything works - possibly not the case, seeing how the body is is fitted to the chassis..

And what's more, the tank wagon has bits missing

You're right I missed that! They made tens of thousands and a good percentage seem to have survived. (IIRC without checking, they made about 250,000 of the D'uchess of Montrose' and there must have been a similar number of these (there are detail variations, but they don't affect the value - or lack of it!)
