Trainmaster!!
Did they add one (or two) too many zero's? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2ec143def5 Speaking of which - I spy another "anything Yellow needs a three figure sum" in the making. I bet B&Q are making a ton off their sales of spray cans! (not refering to the item below about quality) (I'm all for prototypical Network Rail Items - Love them! - but not one for anything yellow especially with the prices floating around them atm) http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d043a7d98 Jorge

John_Hughes
True - but I am still inclined to ascribe poor English to the poor education system not just the individual. I have heard too many stories of teachers whose English was more than slightly imperfect. Who allowed them to teach others? The short answer to that is that it's well-known in the education system that anyone can teach English or Maths; after all, everyone can talk and add up, can't they.... RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted August 26, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 26, 2012 only two bidders and it's only for the two power cars not like the last one that was for the full train. There's actually 4 trailers being sold separately. High bidder on power cars is also high bidder on trailers so he's up to £650 at present

That who got all the money. Fair play to the guy if he can push 'em out at that price. I'm just thankful I can't abide the looks of the prototype HST (or for that matter Network Rail yellow). In the meantime, getting the basic description right: how hard can it be?

Il Grifone
Not eBay but one of their competitors (just slumming - even more junk than eBay). http://uk.ebid.net/f...et-64180959.htm Love the "NOT KNOWN WHAT THIS IS FOR YET," (but we'll start the bidding at £7.99 + £2.50) (It's the top housing of a Dublo Deltic/Co-Bo motor bogie, if you need one though I would have started at 99p.) They also have this useful item http://uk.ebid.net/for-sale/triang-r-r-metal-base-only-spares-70742456.htm (Base of a Tri-ang signal gantry - about the right price for the complete item!) Waverley West
This seller takes some beating - selling the NRM limited edition top trumps cards individually for nearly 4 quid each... Used too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Class-395-NRM-TT-Railfest-2012-Train-Collector-Card-/360477201158#ht_500wt_1180 He's got at least 14 others listed too. Now, where did I put my set? Can't remember how much I paid for it, but that's a ludicrous mark-up by anyone's standards.
