Initially I thought WTF?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lima-Class-37-No-37045-split-headcode-box-Repainted-Livery-Model-Loco-/160735421249?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item256c93e341

And then I had to admit that actually, it may be fictional but I rather like it!!!

So it's £75-00 for this ,

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3f13b3a950

But it's £150-00 for it in this form .

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3f13b3da3b

:scratchhead:

It is a nice kit - some really good quality castings. BUT like so many kits of its eta and from the Cotswold stable they now sell at utterly ridiculous prices. Provide he started it low (did he) it wouldn't surprise me to see it top £200 to someone who hasn't read this year's Hornby catalogue.

But wouldn't you miss all the fun of the build?

A little bit optimistic or simply a poor description? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/toy-train-/260955691156?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3cc22bd894

Absolultey agree Mike , but I've been watching all the 42/72xx's that have appeard lately and most of the kits

seem to end up around the £100 mark , the built ones do go for silly money but not starting at the £150 point,

£150 is his opening price for the kit , he might have made that with a low start price but I think he's going to

be lucky to get it for the kit .

I have these on watch just to see how he gets on .

That said he does have the wagon for £85 that Jan pointed out earlier , plus a load more at quite high prices .

Then just for good measure , not railway , but , WHAT !!!!!

Starting price £1,550 which is simply asking for no-one to bid. Collection only - not surprising for such an item BUT location = South West which I guess covers anything from Bristol to Lands End?

Ah, you noticed that one as well. And what the .. indeed. But on second thoughts, my lawnmover does need replacing. Could be a good excuse for a trip to England. But the location is a bit vague  Might stumble on a couple of modelshops on the way though, and forget about the mower....
