How can it be analogue, if it has no motor?

Fair point.   I find it a nuisance when I post non-powered rolling stock for sale on eBay, leaving the analogue/digital field blank and then it pesters me for missing item specifics and I have to click analogue just to keep eBay happy.

Looks like it once occupied pride of place on top of somebody's gas fire.

Or perhaps they lit up the firebox to see if it would steam?

The front end rather looks to be suffering from Mazac rot! Are they plastic or metal?

In a fit of madness, I rescued this loco from eBay. Loco only, no tender. Can anyone identify it? Not a class I know. I wondered about a Manson G&SWR 0-6-0?

It looks Drummand'ish so maybe Caledonian?

"chassis" and wheels are cast all in one piece, some sort of mazak, the rest is low grade plastic.

It means that the motor it hasn't got is analogue.  It would be digital if the motor it didn't have was digital, obviously.  Try and keep up...
