This is from the Trainz USA website (same people as on ebay I think?) The motor is priced at $12 on this site (same pictures) which ain't so bad. I reckon it's a bit chunky for H0 and in any case they've described it as 0 gauge. I wonder if it's either decimal point trouble-or- they've bumped it up on ebay to recover ebay fees😉

Why in heavens name is a well respected retailer selling this dangerous junk?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204311813105?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=7NGT9XstTyC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=NiGtNyCuSh2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Plugs need to be cut off and the whole lot thrown in the council electrical recycling before some fool plugs these deathtraps into the mains...

My personal view is that you're ''dead'' right . The vendor should have posted some kind of prominent health warning for this lot.  However I've seen these go for £80 or so, each, on Lucifer's Toybox. Granted the ones I saw go for that money were ''nicer'' with box, paperwork, connector tabs etc.

In our local club there's a heritage style Dublo 3 rail 8x4 layout. I take my 3 rail conversions up there for a sprint as I'm just in the planning stage for a layout. The owner /builders use these controllers, albeit rewired to modern standards. Personally, although I'm an old HD 3 railer I'll stick to my Gaugemaster controllers!

  Ramble over, Regards, Rich

Or a mint boxed original for a whole lot more money, BUT I could understand why someone would buy this to complete their Dublo collection.

They'd still use a modern DC controller though.

Hmm, been a little while since we've had these ones on.

£50 for a wildly inaccurate coach - which looks like it's been in a smokers house - the condition is disgusting.

Racket Railways again!

Looks like it's been on a shelf in a grubby house a long time.

A quick scrub with an old toothbrush and warm soapy water would make a world of difference.

Then, it might be worth easily a tenner....

This one is equally disgusting.   Looks like it has lost its glazing, also it is Playcraft HO although described as Hornby-Dublo.

7 pictures of the same side? The seller was clearly too busy to take pictures of the rest of the loco.😉

Chance of a lifetime here. A box full of rusty junk for only £50. To be fair to the seller they are described as ''sun faded with various rusts'' !

This is the sort of stuff I would expect to pay a quid apiece for to use for overlay projects or resprays

Why not list them at 99p auction and be glad of what you get. Duh.

Greed and avarice?

Of course a bit of mendacious chiselling could come into the equation.

Trouble is, if no-one buys them then Rocket Railways will and stick them on for 50 pounds each. Is this the same Rocket Railways who appear on my YouTube feed telling me how an old Lima Class 47 or a Bachmann split chassis pannier tank is a 50 pound bargain?!

It's the same Rocket Railways that has the absolute cheek to make numerous videos moaning about the cost of model railways & poke fun at Hornby.

Complete & utter hypocrites.

They also admit they charge you for items that most people would chuck

A lot of their stock should have ridden out on the same horse their morals left on.

See if they were vintage motorcycles or old American pickup trucks, that would be patina and worth money!

But those are probably man cave clutter at best.
