Depressingly, this is still on for £99 this morning, despite the lolz, silly-old-me and assurances to the contrary:

I just dropped them a quick note via eBay messages mentioning that three days later and it is still listed at £99 …

Wonder what the response will be this time?

HOURS OF FUN!

I just followed the link and it appears the response was to lower the price to £50.

Was it not the case that the seller, in the original response to SteveyDee’s query, said that it was supposed to have been £9.99? Shame they feel the need to give one answer to keep someone quiet whilst continuing to gouge the market with the other hand.

Pretty shoddy if you ask me.

They prefer to sell to mugs? Having said that, a lot of this Lyddle End canal stuff seems surprisingly expensive?

I don't know anything about the Hornby N gauge range but I doubt the RRP was £100.

A quick browse in google has found the following:-

Here onwards seems to be better priced.

One person's fantasy is another person's horror story! - A latex catsuit and a pint, eh!? Holey pants!?

There used to be an expression to describe her appearance as having "Ni****s like footie studs". I don't think you could get away with it nowadays...

Cheryl Cole in a latex catsuit? My, you do have a curious imagination!

On the topic of Sam's trains, be claims that it costs him £25 to 3D print a body of a small locomotive.

This probably uses the same amount of plastic...

Having some small experience in this area I can confidently say:

"Like **** it does."

Yes, there's your time (fair enough) but a lot of people claim it uses lots of electricity.

Some time ago I helped a friend with a car restoration and we kept an eye on the electrical costs. We took an Austin A40 and basically replaced the bottom foot of the bodywork by cutting out and welding, then performed a full bare metal respray. The work took three months of spare time and upped the quarterly electric bill by approximately £30 compared to the previous year.

Obviously, if you are selling said locomotive body, you want compensation for your time, skills, equipment and materials costs, which is absolutely fair, but the physical cost isn't that great.

Scammell wheel nuts, chapel hat pegs, Cadillac tail lights, gorilla's thumbs... Take your pick.

I can't imagine having a great conversation with Cheryl to be honest.

Each to his own.

Old King Cole in a latex catsuit would be even more bizarre!
