"Is there a look out down the line, on the approach to the work site?" "Is there a possession in place for work on the track?" "Has the appropiate permit to work been issued and signed off?" I bought the Lima model of 87022 brand new from a swap meet for £5 and when staying with friends living next to the west coast mainline near Bugbrooke in Northamptonshire watched in vain for that livery, do remember seeing the APT and locos with oversize numbers though! Still got the 87 too. My mother didn't want me having one either, but I did stencil the BR arrows logo on the back for one of the skinheads at school, would have been about 1984.
