Almost tempted to sell mine! :O

And you could then get some nice person to become a member and buy you another one from Bachmann - they are still available....

(Links eventually become out of date and disappear this is a NSE 2EPB EMU - Collectors club 2011 special edition)

To be fair it started out at 99p. The final bid was the bidders only bid about 6 hours before bidding closed! :O

To answer the last bit first over the last year I've seen many of his 'AWESOME' weathering jobs, and while I grant you that there's a certain subjectiveness for stuff at the more arty end of the model railway spectrum I would struggle to describe any of his work as AWESOME. If you want a benchmark of excellence then I'd suggest you take a look in Modelling Inspirations at Pugsley's 100T tanker, or trawl through the forum for Pennine MC's 16T minerals.

Now the first part. From other examples in this here thread, mis-labeling seems to be fair game. In this instance 'AWESOME' is hyperbole at best. I'm also minded to single 'AWESOME' out for special attention partly because it's rude to shout, and partly because he applies the tag to every damn thing he sells. Caravan accessories; 'AWESOME' ?

What gets me is who goes to the trouble of fitting a 3-link, but then applies the number on what appears to be blotting paper?!

As for some of the 'super' weathering above, I think it's time to start visiting car boot sales for models and getting the air brush out! :D

The interesting thing is that that's not the 06, it's the Triang 0-4-0 North British shunter, on the same chassis as Polly/Connie/Nelly, which you don't see too often. Pity it's in such a state.

Pinch me- tell me I'm not in Alice in Wonderland world...http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2eb832c17f

Perhaps the price reflects the reason I'm a modeller rather than 'A Collector' - Not a lot of cash available.

I would have bought the model and ditched the box, changed the wheels, added proper couplings and ran it on the layout.

Ooops, sorry, recycled the box...
