Methfix or Waterslide?? Kitbuilt? It’s a Lima model, repainted with a toothbrush... The only Kit bit could be the numberplates...including a smoke box plate that GWR locos didn’t have prior to 1948... The lettering, in the wrong font (Times New Roman?) looks to have been printed, cut out, and affixed by glue, double sided tape, self adhesive printing paper, or whatever... Listing now ended by seller, as the item is no longer available.... EDIT to add: Posted from the previous page, before I read Hroth’s post on this page... MrWolf
£50 ? For that junk? It was originally a British Railways liveried model, you can see the remains of the lining on the cylinders as well as the smokebox number. Shame really that it's been painted with a fork / toilet brush / hammer / brick etc. With a bit of detailing and a change of pony truck wheels, they still make a nice model, even 40 years on.

I would class that as a daft price rather than a fancy price. I've noticed a number of limited edition private owner wagons at high prices. It's yet another contrived collectors bandwagon. I'm fine with it, because it's not my money. 4

MrWolf
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313417319190 How is a rehash of an obsolete model with a face stuck on it worth £500? Some people clearly have far too much money it seems.
