So I cannot use these paints for OO gauge! The lister even has an n/HO airbrush for sale. More interestingly every 4mm item in his shop is described as HO.

RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted December 28, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 28, 2020 Hmm... Seems like dodgy scale paint guy is one of those who buts job lots for daft amounts of money then sells the bits off individually. A lot of listings look like landfill fodder to me. 1

It's an interesting business model, which appears to consist of: 1. Go to local model railway exhibition. 2. Pull out the 50p / £1 bargain box from under each stall or layout. 3. Say to proprietor: "What will you take for the lot mate?" ( The cheeky "mate" remark is important, so that you look like "a well known character / part of the furniture" ) 4. Stick on eBay with ambiguous descriptions. 5. Sit back and wait for the millions to roll in. 6. In the event of complaint, act as though you are the injured party, become abusive / cocky / pig ignorant. 7. Repeat parts 1-6 until chucked off eBay. 1

One that makes models with motors in... As opposed to “Atlas Editions”... So, definitely potentially misleading! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Model-Atlas-Train-Black-DB-96-GT2-4X4-CLASS-Brand-New-In-Box-Is-NOT-a-Toy/224285798309?hash=item343879afa5:g:MhYAAOSw4z5fsSwq Edited December 28, 2020 by Ruffnut Thorston Link added.. 1
MrWolf
The items that I came across were listed something like: "GWR 0-6-0, OO gauge Hornby/Bachmann/Lima" for a BIN price of £38 IIRC, probably done that way to get more hits, but nowhere did it say whether or not it was motorised. A look at the pictures gave it away.
