Horsetan
The full effects of the death of Falcon Brassworks (aided in no small way by RMWeb!) are now just filtering through.... The example shown is actually quite ridiculous, given that I bought an unbuilt O1 kit recently for £18.....

009 micro modeller
Restored to 'Dai Woodham' condition? I think they said restored but meant backdated. Backdated from 'has been sitting in a scrapyard for twenty years' to 'has been sitting in a scrapyard for ten years'.

009 micro modeller
If you list it, they will buy... ...or perhaps not... I notice as well that that particular one is not an auction so you can only buy it now. On the other hand, is that a rare version of the Nellie/Connie etc loco? Il Grifone
If this is a restored item, I would hate to think of what an unrestored one looks like..... https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hornby-DUBLO-3-RAIL-PRE-WAR-EDP1-SIR-NIGEL-GRESLEY-TENDER-RESTORED-UNBOXED/142828816261?hash=item214142c785:g:m8UAAOSwuHJbHUQ9 The 'restoration' appears to have consisted of replacing the original body with a (clapped-out) post-war one. Pre-war tenders have pale gold, red shaded lettering like this:- https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/44824958768075840/?lp=true Edited June 16, 2018 by Il Grifone

On the other hand, is that a rare version of the Nellie/Connie etc loco? AFAIK Nellies are blue, Connies are yellow and Pollys red. There are some mix ups in colour and number which makes them rare - 'worth' perhaps £15 rather than £10!* * Usual Grifone exaggeration, but not a lot more.... There are some mix ups in colour and number which makes them rare - 'worth' perhaps £15 rather than £10!* * Usual Grifone exaggeration, but not a lot more.... There are less Yellow (Connie) and Red (Polly) loco's than Blue (Nellies) because the blue was manufactured for a couple of years before the other 2 and was also used in sets. But no way is any of then worth best part of £100.
