Bachmann 37-537 20 TON BRAKE VAN BR BAUXITE - WITH TAIL LIGHT sold for a mere £38.99 ! A bargain

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-37-537-20-TON-BRAKE-VAN-BR-BAUXITE-WITH-TAIL-LIGHT-/252491725293?hash=item3ac9adf9ed:g:pwcAAOSw-itXp21v

You can hardly see the wires

Strange that you would advertise a model with a tail light but not specify any more detail or show a picture of what said tail light looks like.

Is it led or bulb, battery powered or does it have pickups on the wheels and how are they fitted.

They've done well done for getting £39 for it!

Where Cooper Craft in business in 1970?.........the load in the wagon looks like something the cat brought up.........

Definitely not in 1970 - they started around 1980 IIRC.

EDIT:   Founded 1977 - from their website.

The seller also has this little gem currently on offer at a 'bargain' price!

1977.

From the Cooper Craft Website:

Originally established in Somerset by Colin Heard in 1977, the name 'Cooper' derived from the maiden name of Colin's mother. Before starting the business, Colin had worked as tool maker (making the moulds or "tools" that fit on injection moulding machines) for Peco at Beer in Devon, and for the Kemtron Corporation (an American model railway manufacturer) in Los Angeles.

In 1989, Colin moved to the Isle of Man to look after the family business interests and took Cooper Craft with him to an industrial unit near the centre of the island. In 1991 ownership was transferred to Tony Brown in East London, where the company operated and grew until 2008. Cooper Craft has now moved back to its original county of Somerset, with the ownership now having been taken over by Paul Dunn.

I am in a dilemma as I don't know whether to buy this book from this Ebay seller for £51.24 or from Booklaw for £11.99. It's not even sure which volume it is.

This is even crazier; £78.15 for a second hand book that cost £9.99 new from Booklaw.
